Shawn Mendes New Album 2019: Release Date, Tracklist & Title

Shawn Mendes is expected to release a new album in 2019 so here's everything we know so far...

Shawn Mendes has gifted us his first bit of new music for 2019, releasing the catchy single 'If I Can't Have You'.

The track debuted at Number 14 on The Official Big Top 40 and has been rising up the chart ever since.

It's obviously got fans wondering whether we can expect a whole new album from Shawn later in the year.

Speaking to Capital Breakfast with Roman Kemp recently, Shawn confirmed that 'If I Can't Have You' will be on an album... but it's going to be a new version of his self-titled album from 2018.

We don't know the full tracklist or release date just yet but it's likely that Shawn will drop the album at some point in 2019.

However, he revealed that he is writing for a brand-new album in May and he's already got some tracks in the bag.

"I've already wrote a tonne of songs," Shawn told Capital, "I'm just trying to work out what the feel will be."
