Ariana Grande appears to have confirmed that she's finished recording her new album but her record label Republic Records won't let her release it yet.
Ariana has liked a number of tweets from fans that suggest her label are stopping her from bringing out the new album.
Ari has been busy in the studio working on new music recently, releasing the lead single 'thank u, next' last month.

Ariana also liked a tweet from her longtime producer and co-songwriter Savana Kotecha, who stated that her new album "is the best album @ArianaGrande‘s made."
"It’s an example of a once in a generation talent at the peak of her powers both as a vocalist and a writer. I will be forever in awe," Savan wrote.

Savan worked with Ariana on the three singles from her last album Sweetener - 'No Tears Left to Gry', 'God is a Woman' and 'Breathin'' - which came out back in August this year.
Ariana had previously teased that she could be releasing her next album before the end of 2018, though that now looks unlikely given there's only a few weeks left of the year.
She released the incredible music video for 'thank u, next' last week, starring celebrity friends including Troye Sivan and Kris Jenner, and it smashed YouTube's record for the video with 'most views in the 24 hours since release'.
