BTS claim their first UK Number 1 with 'Dynamite'

BTS' new single 'Dynamite' has gone to Number 1 on the UK's biggest chart show this Sunday.
BTS have claimed their first ever UK Number 1 with new single ‘Dynamite’.
They’ve climbed to the top of The Official Big Top 40 this Sunday. It’s officially the UK’s biggest chart show and counts down the biggest songs that you’ve been streaming, downloading and listening to most on the radio this week.
‘Dynamite’ is the first time that the group have recorded a song fully in English. It charted last week at Number 34, just two days after its release, but climbed a massive 33 places with a full week behind it.
It’s the group’s eighth chart hit and beats their previous highest chart position - Number 10 for ‘Boy With Luv’ with Halsey.
Last week’s Number 1 song - ‘Midnight Sky’ from Miley Cyrus - slips to Number 2 this Sunday. It’s followed by Clean Bandit and Mabel’s ‘Tick Tock’, which is up 29 places to Number 3.
Former Number 1 song ‘Head & Heart’ from Joel Corry and MNEK slips a place this week to Number 4.
There were New Entries this week from the likes of Vera Lynn, Conan Grey, plus Calvin Harris & The Weekend.
