A Wicked Number 1! Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande have made their Wicked Number 1 debut on The Official Big Top 40 from Global with 'Defying Gravity'.

The single entered The Official Big Top 40 during last week's chart in 16th place and it's been this week's highest riser. It's risen 15 places to Number 1!
In this week's chart, we see the entry of 4 more songs from the Wicked soundtrack. 'The Wizard And I', 'Dancing Through Life', 'What Is This Feeling?' and 'Popular' all entered the Top 40 this week. 'What Is This Feeling?' came in at number 10 whilst 'Popular' came in at 7. We're holding space for more Wicked songs to enter the chart.
We had 4 re-entries in the Top 40 this week including Leona Lewis' 'One More Sleep' and Elton John's 'Step Into Christmas'. We also saw 'Shine a Light (feat. Taio Cruz)' by McFly reach number 35 after Barry McGuigan and Melvin Odoom gave their own rendition of the song on Wednesday night's episode of I'm A Celebrity.
Gracie Abrams' 'That's So True' climbs to 8th place this week whilst Shaboozey's 'A Bar Song (Tipsy)' climbs up to 5th place in the chart.
Will 'Defying Gravity' keep the top spot for a second week? Or will another song from the Wicked soundtrack reach Number 1 instead?
