Ed Sheeran's 'Bad Habits' named the UK's top song of 2021

Ed Sheeran has bagged the biggest song of 2021 with his Number 1 single 'Bad Habits'.

Ed Sheeran's 'Bad Habits' has been named the biggest song of the year in the UK.

Will Manning announced on The Official Big Top 40: Chart of the Year that Ed's summer single was this year's Number 1.

'Bad Habits' went straight to the top of the UK's biggest chart show upon its release at the end of June.

It then spent a total of 8 weeks at the top over the summer, the first of five Number 1 songs for Ed Sheeran in 2021.

Adele also returned to music in 2021, coming back just a few months after Ed. Her single 'Easy On Me' claimed second place with another Ed song - 'Shivers' - taking the Number 3 spot.
