Lewis Capaldi is crowned the first Number 1 of 2023, as his powerful ballad 'Pointless' makes a return to the top spot after Christmas!
2023 is looking like a good year for Lewis Capaldi, beginning with a return to Number 1 with the second single from his sophomore album, 'Pointless'. The single comes from Lewis' upcoming album 'Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent', which releases on May 19th. Lewis is also embarking on a huge world tour, beginning in Leeds just next week!

How long will Lewis' reign last? He is competing with the mammoth which is RAYE and 070 Shake's 'Escapism.' which re-peaks this week at Number 2 - up 4. Can RAYE get her hands on the Number 1 next week?
Other huge climbs this week include P!NK's 'Never Gonna Not Dance Again', up 22, and venbee and Goddard's 'messy in heaven' hitting a new peak of Number 10, up 13.
