Lewis Capaldi's Second Week at Number 1

Lewis Capaldi has made it two weeks at Number 1 with his second single 'Pointless' from his upcoming sophomore album. Fighting off competition from RAYE's TikTok sensation 'Escapism.', and a wealth of Christmas bangers, Lewis has solidified his place at the top of the UK chart.
With one week to go till we find out the UK Christmas Number 1, the Top 10 is filled with Christmas hits this week. Notably, new Christmas songs 'Christmas Drillings' by Sidemen is at Number 2, and this week's highest new entry comes from previous Christmas Number 1 winner, LadBaby, with 'Food Aid'.

RAYE's 'Escapism.' featuring 070 Shake makes it another week in the Top 5, at Number 5 this week.
Joining Will in the studio, RAYE played a game of 'Great Position or Dumb Decision', becoming the agony aunt for people's problems. She also revealed the inspiration for the song, saying she wanted the song to be something she could "catch a vibe" to during hard times, check out the clip below:
