Sam Fender has made his Number 1 debut on The Official Big Top 40 from Global with his new single 'People Watching'.

The single entered The Official Big Top 40 during last week's chart and you have been loving it so much this week that it's risen 6 places to Number 1!
It comes after the announcement of his new album and tour under the same name. Congratulations Sam Fender!
After 2 weeks at number 1, 'APT.' from ROSÉ and Bruno Mars was knocked down one place to number 2 in this week's Official Big Top 40.
We had 4 new entries in the Top 40 this week from the likes of ROSÉ and James Arthur but the highest - which came in at Number 16 - was from Wicked's Cynthia Erivo.
After the release of the movie on Friday 22nd November, 'Defying Gravity' was the only song from the soundtrack to enter the Official Big Top 40.
It's nearly Christmas! There's been 3 Christmas re-entries from The Pogues, Kelly Clarkson and Wham!
Will we see more from the Wicked soundtrack next week? Or will Sam Fender keep the top spot for a second week?
