Shawn Mendes & Camila Cabello's 'Señorita' is the UK's Number 1 song of 2019

The UK's biggest songs of 2019 have been revealed on The Official Big Top 40 with Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello's collaboration topping this year's chart.

Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello's 'Señorita' is the biggest song of 2019, as revealed by The Official Big Top 40.

Will Manning announced this Sunday afternoon that the fiery collaboration has topped the Chart of the Year for 2019.

'Señorita' spent seven weeks at Number 1 on the UK's biggest chart show, dominating the Top 40 over the summer.

Alongside the song's release, Shawn and Camila revealed that after years of being best friends they were now dating.

Lewis Capaldi's 'Someone You Loved' was Number 2 on the Chart of the Year, followed by 'Dance Monkey' from Australian singer Tones & I at Number 3. The song recently spent five consecutive weeks at Number 1.

As this week was the last chart of the 2010s, there was a special moment in the show as Ed Sheeran was revealed to be The Official Big Top 40's Artist of the Decade.

Ed's debuted on The Official Big Top 40 with his single 'The A Team' back in 2011. He scored his first Number 1 with 'Sing' three years later in June 2014.

Since then he's had a total of 42 chart hits in nine years and 10 Number 1 singles - more than any other artist!
