After melting us with his bluesy ballad, Lose Control, Teddy Swims' follow up singles The Door and Bad Dreams are both in our Top 40. The latter rose 3 places to secure today's all-important Number 1 having entered the charts at Number 4 last week.
Check out these live vocals of Bad Dreams, posted recently on Teddy's Instagram ahead of his upcoming I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy Tour.
Arguably the hottest ticket in town this week, Chappell Roan's sell-out shows at O2 Academy Brixton prompted a new entry in the chart, her iconic Pink Pony Club which was released back in 2022. Pink Pony Club joins Chappell's two other appearances in the Top 40, with Good Luck, Babe! at 23, and HOT TO GO! close behind at 27.
This weekend also marked 1 year of The Rise & Fall of a Midwest Princess, an album which Chappell says saw her "life changed forever."
Elsewhere in the chart, we had 2 further new entries including Higher from Tom Grennan which went straight in at Number 22, just 2 days after its release. This week's Number 35 is a new collaboration from music giants Alicia Keys and Swedish House Mafia. Their single Finally is a fresh take on the 2001 club classic of the same name.
Can Teddy Swims make it a second week at the top or will this week's highest new entry from Tom Grennan rise up? Maybe Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars will make a return after slipping down a place?
